Here Is A Thought On A Friday

On Monday, I went to Pottermore.com for the first time. WHY HAVE I NOT DONE THIS BEFORE?

I received my wand (rowan with a unicorn hair core, 14 1/2 inches, slightly yielding) and was sorted into my house. I’m a Ravenclaw!

I am almost embarrassed by how happy this made me. Like, it felt like J.K. herself met me, and was like “Oh yeah. You’re a Ravenclaw.” which is just like the best thing ever.

Anyway, I guess my thought is: Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure.

Harry Potter is a right of passage for all involved.
I’ve recently written a post on my 5 top reads: http://thesignorina.com/2014/12/13/5-must-read-books-for-this-christmas/

Hence you had chance to read any of them? Would love to hear your literary opinion.

My partner recently asked which house I might beling to and I promptly answered Ravenclaw replying with ‘Wit without measure is man’s greatest treasure’ when asked why. So, you and I are Ravenclaw sisters I guess *high fives*

Hi, my fellow Ravenclaw!! ♥ I know the feeling – when I got to the Sorting Hat moment and auntie Jo said “This is it”, I literally started crying. Not exactly what a grown up person is supposed to do. But if adulthood doesn’t include being extraordinarily happy about finally being sorted into a Hogwarts house (and the right one!), then I officially quit being an adult. (As if I ever was…)

      Ravenclaw!!!!

Also, I agree, if being an adult means I can’t enjoy this then screw being an adult.

For the first time ever… Ravenclaw. I won’t lie, it may have broken my heart a bit.

That seems about right – I often find my interests coincide with 8 year olds.

I haven’t had time to check it out more myself but it does look like a lot of fun! :)

What a fun idea! Since you seem to be such a hardcore Harry Potter fan, I might just have to challenge you to a Harry Potter quiz off! :D

There was a website where I used to challenge another friend. I’ll see if I can find it and we’ll dual! :D
