Thank You.

The past several days have been awful. But your kind words and positive thoughts meant the world to me. I read and re-read every one and it was like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day.

I love you all. Thank you!

It doesn’t feel right to laugh and be funny right now, but it doesn’t feel right not to either. Especially because my family has lost two people who made us all laugh a lot. So, I’m going to try and get back to being funny soon and I hope you will laugh with me – for them.

If anyone is in a position to help, please go here:

Thank you for sharing the link–I love that the internet makes it so easy and quick to help people I don’t even know…I’m sorry for your loss and will be thinking of all of you.

Oh heavens – what a lot to deal with. I wish you strength, and yes, laughter to go with the inevitable tears. Don’t feel badly needing to laugh, it is all part of the process. And some memories you will want to share are funny. Don’t deny them their place.

Focus on memories of them making you smile. It may sound odd, but the service we held after my mother’s passing was filled with laughter and smiles. Share the happy memories. Those are the ones that seem to most help healing.
Perhaps, instead of trying to “get back to being funny”, just share stories of them making you smile.
    I’m sending comforting thoughts.

I can only imagine the sadness in your heart, but I trust that you will find strength inside of you to fight the sadness and start smiling again soon. After all, you are the Be A Lifehacker and you’ll swim against the sadness current like a pro.
My prayers so that you and your family can stay united and find happiness against all odds. (((hugs)))
